| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | The work explores a cross between artistic creation and philosophy to propose a reflection of existential type on the theme of death from the language of contemporary drawing. For it, uses the contributions of two key authors of the Western tradition: the French poet Charles Baudelaire and the German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer. Through an approach to some of their main ideas about death, particularly those that they develop in their respective texts The Flowers of Evil and The World as Will and Representation, and through a review of the elements that make up the artistic genre of the Vanitas, the research-creation explores drawing as a means to raise questions about the transience of time, the mortality, the transitory and the ephemeral nature of life; proposing ways to update, re-materialization and reconfiguration of iconographies alluding to death in a drawing practice contemporary. | spa |
