Objective: To analyze knowledge management as a means of addressing decent work within public policies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Pact for the Future. The study aimed to identify theoretical and methodological approaches, examine applicable practices in public policy, and detect existing knowledge gaps in its implementation.Design/Methodology: A systematic literature review was conducted, encompassing 61 studies published between 2000 and 2024 on databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. The selected publications explored the relationship between knowledge management and decent work, identifying both barriers and opportunities in this field.Findings: The results show that knowledge management strategies have contributed to fostering inclusive and sustainable work environments through training, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of digital technologies. Frameworks such as the Knowledge Management Excellence Model (KMEM) have proven effective in overcoming challenges related to policy execution. Nevertheless, significant gaps persist—particularly in developing economies—such as limited organizational capacities and weak implementation in contexts characterized by high levels of informal employment. Conclusions: Knowledge management strategies were found to be effective in promoting decent work and addressing structural inequalities in the labor market. Their integration into public policy enhances social equity, strengthens organizational capabilities, and supports the creation of fair working conditions.Originality: This study advances an interdisciplinary approach that connects knowledge management with the promotion of decent work. It identifies strategies, gaps, and opportunities while highlighting innovative models such as the KMEM and knowledge management systems that improve sustainability and address gender disparities and employment informality. Also, it offers insights into.en-US
