Objective: To explore the theoretical relationship between sustainable development, dynamic capabilities, and innovation in organizations. The aim is to validate this connection and analyze how the interaction between sustainable development and dynamic capabilities influences organizational innovation.Design/Methodology: A descriptive and quantitative bibliometric analysis was conducted using a non-experimental design. Particularly, scientific mapping was carried out based on 371 articles retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science, which were then analyzed using Bibliometrix R and VOSviewer. In addition, qualitative content analysis was performed on the 20 most-cited articles identified through Bibliometrix.Findings: The scientific mapping revealed a clear relationship between the constructs examined in this study. Through content analysis of the most-cited articles, this relationship was found to significantly impact innovation outcomes via various organizational and operational strategies. These strategies include stakeholder management, the development of sustainable business models, the implementation of green supply chain management practices, and the application of dynamic capabilities to identify, seize, and manage opportunities and threats. Conclusions: Key concepts such as circular economy, sustainable performance, green business orientation, and organizational ambidexterity help explain the relationship between sustainable development, dynamic capabilities, and innovation.Originality: This study identifies a potential research agenda that highlights new strategies for enhancing innovative performance in green businesses or ventures or for supporting those firms or ventures that aim to transition to sustainable development. Also, it emphasizes the identification and exploitation of dynamic capabilities to improve innovative performance.en-US
