dc.description	The Fourth Industrial Revolution has started to develop and bring along new information and communications technologies, as well as novel forms of complex relationships between processes and organizations. This revolution is part of processes that further expand the scope and differentiate the division of labor, which was originally conceived in previous revolutions. This editorial briefly addresses the relationship between the industrial revolutions and economic and management sciences, as well as important transformations in the development of the Western civilization within liberal capitalism. It also refers to aspects of these changes and speculates about the consequences of the recent Industry 4.0.	en-US
dc.description	La cuarta revolución industrial ha comenzado a gestarse y a traer nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, así como novedosas formas de relacionamientos complejos entre procesos y organizaciones, y hace parte de los procesos de profundización en el alcance y diferenciación de la división del trabajo que fue originalmente gestado en las revoluciones predecesoras. El texto alude brevemente a la relación entre revoluciones industriales y ciencias económicas y administrativas, y a importantes transformaciones en el desarrollo civilizatorio occidental en el capitalismo liberal. En su desarrollo, se mencionan aspectos de estos cambios y se especula sobre las implicaciones de la reciente industria 4.0.	es-ES
