Abstract
El arte nos brinda la posibilidad de acercarnos de una forma sensible y reflexiva ante los hechos
que han marcado el trasegar histórico de las comunidades, en esta caso a los afrodescendientes,
sus verdaderas luchas y resistencia cultural que fue lograda a través de la espiritualidad y su
particular sincretismo el cual influyó profundamente en la identidad latinoamericana, hasta la
actualidad. El presente trabajo de investigación-creación busca visibilizar, a través del dibujo y la
pintura, lo que de cierto modo permanecía oculto tras los subestimados aportes y legados
ancestrales que hacen parte de una rica cosmovisión cargada de arte, religiosidad, música, danza,
ritmo, estética y formas de vida digna. Su valor y resistencia son la remembranza de una gran parte
de nuestras raíces que se traduce a través de la creación visual.

Present. This research-creation work seeks to make visible, through drawing and
painting, which in a certain way was hidden behind the underestimated contributions and legacies
ancestors who are part of a rich worldview full of art, religiosity, music, dance,
rhythm, aesthetics and worthy lifestyles. His courage and endurance are the memory of much
of our roots that translates through visual creation
