Abstract

Todos los medios de transporte requieren de lugares adecuados para su estacionamiento, que brinden protección a la lluvia y al sol, además de asegurar el bienestar del vehículo y que genere confianza al usuario al retirarse de este.Cuando se habla de estacionamientos para medios de transporte alternativos como lo es la bicicleta, se evidencia que a nivel internacional dichos espacios se utilizan tanto en sitios públicos como en colegios y universidades, con el objetivo principal de resguardar el vehículo, pero también con el ánimo de generar un hábito por medio de múltiples incentivos que impulsen el uso de este medio alternativo de transporte, que no solo es amigable con el medio ambiente sino que también ayuda a la salud del mismo usuario que utiliza este medio para movilizarse. A nivel nacional algunas universidades implementan diferentes diseños de aparcamientos para bicicletas, en su gran mayoría estos solo se adecuan a los espacios con la intención de parquear la bicicleta, pero sus propuestas carecen de varios elementos para crear lugares seguros que generen confianza en los usuarios que hacen uso de estos.Se pretende con este proyecto diseñar un bici-parqueadero sostenible para el campus Robledo de la institución universitaria ITM, que cumpla con todos los requerimientos técnicos y de diseño para generar confianza en los actuales usuarios de la bicicleta, e incentivar por medio de esta propuesta a otros miembros de la comunidad educativa a utilizar este tipo de locaciones

Abstract

All means of transport require adequate places for parking, which provide protection from rain and sun, in addition to ensuring the welfare of the vehicle and that generates confidence to the user to withdraw from it. When talking about parking for alternative means of transport such as the bicycle, it is evident that at an international level these spaces are used both in public places and in schools and universities, with the main objective of protecting the vehicle, but also with the encouragement to generate a habit through multiple incentives that promote the use of this alternative means of transport, which is not only friendly to the environment but also helps the health of the same user who uses this means to mobilize. At national level some universities implement different bicycle parking designs, most of them are only suitable for the spaces with the intention of parking the bicycle, but their proposals lack several elements to create safe places that generate confidence in the users They make use of these. The aim of this project is to design a sustainable bicycle-parking lot for the Robledo campus of the ITM university institution, which meets all the technical and design requirements to generate confidence in the current users of the bicycle, and to encourage this proposal through other members of the educational community to use this type of location
