Temporada 1. Cultura Ciudadana: Esculturas. Arte público

En nuestro cuarto capítulo del Podcast. Ciencia y Cultura en su primera temporada, haremos un acercamiento a un grupo particular de esculturas dentro del amplio y variado conjunto de arte público presente en el centro, se quiere invitar a los escuchas a conocer y comprender los procesos de memoria, cultura y arte en la ciudad, la región y el país, tomando como referente a algunos escultores como Marco Tobón Mejía y Bernardo Vieco, los cuales tienen obras de arte en parques, calles y lugares de importancia para el centro de Medellín, viviendo hoy la suerte de que los transeúntes han llegado a invisibilizarla en un cotidiano deambular por aquella premisa dura y paradójica de que las cosas suelen olvidarse de tanto verlas. Entrevista con el invitado: Jorge Isaac Ortiz Arboleda, Historiador de la Universidad de Antioquia, Profesor de Cátedra en las Facultades de Ingeniería, Ciencias Sociales y en la Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología de la Universidad de Antioquia, integrante del Grupo de Investigación Historia Cultural, Memoria y Patrimonio CULTUR.

Abstract

In our fourth chapter of the Podcast. Science and Culture in its first season, we will make an approach to a particular group of sculptures within the wide and varied set of public art present in the center, we want to invite listeners to know and understand the processes of memory, culture and art in the city, the region and the country, taking as a reference some sculptors such as Marco Tobón Mejía and Bernardo Vieco, who have works of art in parks, streets and places of importance for the center of Medellín, living today the luck that the passers-by have come to make her invisible in a daily wandering around that harsh and paradoxical premise that things tend to forget after seeing them so much. Interview with the guest: Jorge Isaac Ortiz Arboleda, Historian of the University of Antioquia, Professor of Chair in the Faculties of Engineering, Social Sciences and in the Inter-American School of Library Science of the University of Antioquia, member of the Research Group Cultural History, Memory and CULTUR Heritage.
