Barbara Lins writes to go into the night with a token of sun in her hands, to breathe her own lilting air, to instill new life into her name. Poetically, she is in search of the closest experience, the root of language uttered in a quiet voice, far from vanity and away from pretention. Discreetly, she reveals the value of her poetry in hard times, she understands that her words are worth something at a time when people are unwilling to listen.
