Abstract
En Sombras en La Red, la más reciente novela del escritor antioqueño Albeiro Patiño Builes, países interceptan las comunicaciones de sus adversarios, políticos y militares mueven los hilos del poder digital, los medios de comunicación publican y hacen resonar las denuncias, clandestinas páginas web confrontan la amenaza con toneladas de información, activistas escriben libros y hacen documentales. Algunos mueren a causa del daño colateral que genera todo este complejo engranaje: ocurrió con un periodista y un reportero en Iraq. ¿Su pecado? Estar en el lugar y el momento equivocados.
Abstract
In Shadows in The Web, the most recent novel by Antioquenian writer Albeiro Patiño Builes, countries tap the communications of their adversaries, politicians and the military pull the strings of digital power, the media publish and announce false accusations, underground webpages respond to the threat with tons of information, and activists write books and make documentaries. Some of them die due to the collateral damage of this complex system, it happened to a journalist and a reporter in Iraq. Their sin? Being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
