Abstract
Abstract
This research aims to understand the relationships that are woven in the process of implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education, from the designer of educational technologies to the last users, teachers and students, and describe the changes in the academic results as a result of these networks of relationships. It is based on the assumption that, in the insertion of a new technology, different intentions can be identified, bringing into play the elements considered by each of the actors. All research will be framed in the contexts for the analysis of the design, use and structure of technological artifacts proposed by Broncano (2008), added to the configuration of Echeverría Ezponda (2000) on a new telematic educational scenario. Finally, the concept of the cognitive gap will be conceptualized, which will serve as the basis for establishing the differences in technical and pedagogical knowledge between the actors. For this, the case study of the Vermont School of Medellín will be taken between the years 2020 and 2021, based on the particular scenario of complete access to ICT, as well as the new virtual environments and dynamics resulting from confinement as a prevention strategy for Covid -19. The information will be obtained through qualitative sources that will allow analysis from semi-structured interviews, surveys and focus groups. It is expected that, with the insertion of educational technologies, the teaching-learning process of students will be directly impacted by their contextual environment, where artifacts, symbols, teachers, and other students interact; as well as by the initiative and will of the actors involved.
