The energy generation from renewable sources has become a vital subject around the world, in the last time, which energy capacity has been noted a significant growth in the installed energetic capacity. The evolution in the appliance of different control techniques of energy conversion has influenced notably in the growing process of this sector, allowing every time a greater exploitation of the energy generated through the renewable sources In this Investigation work, it is presented a Microgrid (MG, because of its acronym in English) of direct current, working as “stand alone”, and connecting direct current load based on renewable sources, on which, it has been applied the technique by “Sliding Modes Control” (SMC) on the powers converters, associated to each one of sources that are distributed. The structure of the thesis is presented in 5 chapters organized as follow: in first chapter 1, it is found the introduction and objectives of the thesis; in chapter 2 are the main concepts, here are found the majority of the information complied in the art state. Also in this chapter is done the initial configuration of the proposed MG, conforming a system initially integrated by photovoltaic array and storage system (ESD). Next it is found the methodology of implementation of the technic SMC, applied on the power converter associated to the power sources. The chapter finalized, validating the results obtained, by the time, through simulation tools. The chapter 3 describes the Ballar 1.2kw hydrogen cell and justifies the need to integrate a source of back up to the system because a hydrogen cell has been elected. The chapter 4, it is showed a management algorithm whose function is to control the power generated by the hydrogen cell. The results are validated through computational tools PSIM and MATHLAB. Finally, the chapter 5 has the conclusions and future works about are this proposedeng
